This musical follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker and his quest for the most coveted of Christmas gifts – an official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle. This family classic about a boy scheming to acquire his treasured BB gun is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.

The Modernism Museum Mount Dora is pleased to announce its new exhibition, Space Oddities: The Sequel. The exhibition opens on Tuesday, July 9th and will run until mid-2020.
Space Oddities: The Sequel expands upon the Modernism Museum’s exhibition of mind-bending Post-Modern designs created by the radical 1980s design collective known as Memphis. This exhibit features hundreds of new Memphis design objects never-before displayed at the Modernism Museum. It also features many items from the remarkable 2016 Sotheby’s auction of David Bowie’s personal Memphis collection, which was assembled over decades of careful consideration. One of the most famous and prolific Memphis collectors, Space Oddities: The Sequel includes many important pieces personally owned by David Bowie, the legendary pop icon, artist, author, actor and astute art collector.
A members-only opening reception will be held on Wednesday, July 10th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Modernism Museum gallery. This event is only open to 3MD Members; however, memberships will be available for purchase at the event. Individual-level Memberships start at $40 and several levels are available. General museum admission is $8 for adults; $7 for seniors (55+), educators and students; and $5 for children (ages 4-17). Mount Dora residents and military/ service personnel receive a 50% discount on admission. Modernism Museum Members of all levels enjoy free, unlimited general admission.
