HE ALICE—AN IMMERSIVE COCKTAIL EXPERIENCE
Through Aug. 10: This is an immersive, interactive adventure but it doesn’t mean you’ll end up swimming in alcohol. SEAWORLD ELECTRIC OCEAN
Through Sept. 5: When the sun goes down, the night lights up with an ocean of fun. From 8 p.m. until closing, Club Sea Glow rocks with a live DJ, dancers, lighting and atmospheric acts. ENCHANTED FAIRY DOORS
Aug. 5-Oct. 31: This charming Central Florida tradition is back for the summer featuring 20 one-of-a-kind, whimsical fairy doors scattered throughout the 50-acre garden to inspire children’s imaginations. $15 adults, $10 for children 4-17 years. ORLANDO BOAT SHOW
Aug. 12-14: Orlando is home to about 76 lakes, so why not get nautical and spend the summer chilling on the deck of your own little yacht? Browse bowriders, ski boats, cruisers, bass boats and many more. Check out marine electronics, catch a water-skiing squirrel show, reel in a bull dolphin on a fishing simulator and drop in on seminars taught by experts. MICKEY’S NOT SO SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY
Aug. 12-Oct. 31: Boo! It’s never too early to celebrate Halloween. HEATHERS THE MUSICAL BENEFIT CONCERT
Aug. 19 & 20: New Generation Theatrical presents the 1980s comedy drama that was a little hipper and a lot darker than the rest of that era’s offerings. Join Veronica Sawyer, the Heathers and the boys who love/hate them as they bring touchy subjects to life through song. ANTHOLOGY
Aug. 19-21: Creative City Project, the team that dreamed up Dragons and Fairies, Down the Rabbit Hole and IMMERSE! have unveiled another season of innovative arts experiences, starting with a night of fiction blended with spirits. 7TH ANNUAL FLORIDA KIDS & FAMILY EXPO
Aug. 20-21: Enjoy a day of family fun and discovery through exhibits and events that encourage little minds to grow. 2ND ANNUAL 2022 BLK JOY FESTIVAL
Aug. 27: Come for the healing, stay for the joy at this festival presented by the Black Health Commission, a nonprofit dedicated to educating and empowering black people and their allies. A sense of community can be found among the many and celebrated through food, live music, art and games.
