ICEBAR Orlando: The Ultimate Cooldown for Grown Ups

A bar made of ice? In Orlando?

There are few better remedies for a sweltering Orlando day than a frosty drink. But you’ll be on ice yourself when you visit ICEBAR Orlando. The largest permanent ice bar in the world, the novelty food and drink spot on International Drive holds more than 70 tons of hand-carved ice. Your drink will never get warm: In addition to the ice-covered bar, it’s served up in a custom-carved ice glass, and the ever-changing ice sculptures mean that there’s always a new selfie to be captured. When you arrive, you’ll receive a thermal coat and pair of gloves (ICEBAR is kept below freezing); faux fur coats are available to rent for $10. Ages eight and above are allowed from 5-9 p.m.; after 9 p.m., it’s 21+. That’s when you can also warm up in the Fire Lounge, where DJs spin and VIP bottle service is available, in addition to delicious starters and small plates. While there, be sure to try a flaming or smoking cocktail.
