To Infinity And Beyond
Inspiration is at every turn inside the Orlando Science Center. In addition to four floors of exhibits that will stoke your curiosity in archaeology, physiology, sustainability and the solar system, OSC reaches 153,000 students and educators annually through its STEM Discovery Center educational programs. Its observatory contains Florida’s largest publicly accessible refractor telescope and offers stunning views of the four moons of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn and other celestial bodies. Don’t miss the brand new “Life” exhibit, an immersive experience centered around Florida’s ecosystems and their connection to us all, that debuts later this spring.
But OSC is much more than a building full of exhibits, labs and a space to marvel at the stars. It works to make science approachable for everyone and supports literacy and critical thinking initiatives. Science Matters is a public information campaign that promotes using the scientific method to make informed decisions while increasing science literacy, helping people better understand the world’s major issues such as climate change, vaccinations and misinformation in the media.

The 10-inch lens of OSC’s refractor telescope lets you take in views of the night sky, the sun and Orlando’s downtown area.
