Don’t Miss These Summer Exhibits At Orlando Science Center
Too hot outside? It's raining again? Find hours of fun inside the Orlando Science Center this Summer.
Summer’s not over yet—and Orlando Science Center (OSC) is calling all bucket-list thrill-seekers and aspiring superheroes! Here’s why heading to OSC before Labor Day should be at the top of your Orlando summer checklist:
1. Make Bucket List Memories in Life, OSC’s $13.5M Mega-Exhibit
Last spring, OSC unveiled Life, its biggest exhibit ever—replacing the old NatureWorks and old KidsTown exhibit areas on Level 1 with lush, hands-on habitats. Stroll through a humid Rainforest filled with live birds, sloths and waterfalls. Dive into the Ocean for shark- and ray-viewing in a 360° theater and touch tanks. Then, step into a Floridian Swamp, complete with alligator sightings, turtles, squirrels navigating overhead tunnels and live animal presentations.
Bucket List Vibe: It’s not just an exhibit—it’s an immersive journey through Earth’s ecosystems. Perfect for photos, exploration and learning how we’re connected to nature.
2. Channel Your Inner Superman in DC Super Heroes: Discover Your Superpowers
This limited-time traveling exhibit is OSC’s biggest superhero showcase yet. Step into the Hall of Justice and test your mettle with:
-
The Crisis Scanner, like Superman, to detect threats
-
Puzzle-solving alongside Batman & Robin to restore Gotham’s Bat-Signal
-
Laser-mazes with Wonder Woman and Batgirl™ while tracking The Cheetah
-
Surf-like balance challenges on Aquaman’s flying fish platforms
From agility to brain power—every part of you gets a workout. Plus, it’s hands-on teamwork and science in costume!
3. Explore OSC’s Unforgettable Permanent Exhibits
Beyond Life and DC, OSC delivers science experiences at every turn:
-
KidsTown (ages 0–7): climb, splash, role-play, design—the perfect intro to STEM
-
Kinetic Zone: build, zap, launch & learn physics
-
DinoDigs: fossils, dinosaur eggs and mega-prehistoric stories
-
Our Planet, Our Solar System: VR, Virtusphere-and cosmos exploration
-
Fusion: A STEAM Gallery, Tiny Green Home, Food Heroes—exciting interactive experiences await
This is a science-lover’s dream, packed into one day.
4. Why Now? Summer Is Winding Down—Don’t Miss Out!
-
Life is now open, and summer temperatures make indoor eco-adventures extra appealing.
-
DC Super Heroes runs only through September 7—let your inner hero shine before it flies away.
5. Plan like a Pro
-
Allocate 2–3 hours for Life if you’re going to see and experience everything, and at least 1.5 hours for the superhero exhibit.
-
Bring young sidekicks? Pack swimsuits and towels for splash zones and interactive water stations.
Bucket List Challenge: Be a Hero for Planet Earth
By visiting, you learn how every rainforest, reef, and swamp intertwines with our future—and how YOU can help. Plus, channelling your inner superhero? That’s just the cherry on top.
If your Orlando bucket list included immersive nature, dino digs, bottle rockets and laser-tagging as Wonder Woman—OSC is your jam. Before summer ends, score tickets, don your cape and dive into a day filled with wonder, exploration and heroic vibes.
See you there—OSC awaits your superpowers!
