WHAT SETS US APART

Dr. Kamran Azad is one of the few board-certified plastic surgeons in Central Florida who has additional aesthetic fellowship training. Dr. Azad’s patients are the beneficiaries of a skillset he developed through extensive additional training in the prestigious Aesthetic Surgery fellowship program at the Plastic Surgery Center in Sacramento, California. Under the direction of the country’s top plastic surgeons, he was trained in the most advanced aesthetic surgical techniques available to improve the face, breasts, and body.

PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY

Perhaps Dr. Azad’s most important qualifications are his compassion and keen awareness that communicating expectations is of utmost importance. An aesthetic plastic surgeon must have not only great technical skills and vast knowledge of anatomy as well as the principles of plastic surgery but also the ability to develop relationships with patients by listening to their needs, gaining their trust, and supporting them throughout the process.

CERTIFICATIONS

Dr. Azad is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is affiliated with Oviedo Medical Center in Oviedo.

EDUCATION

After graduating summa cum laude from the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Azad received a Master of Science in Applied Physiology from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Azad was awarded his medical degree at the Chicago Medical School, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He was a candidate for the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for outstanding academic achievement. Dr. Azad completed his residency in General Surgery at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. He was then selected to complete his Plastic Surgery residency at the Albert Einstein/ Montefiore Medical Center in New York, one of the most rigorous and prestigious plastic surgery training programs in the Northeast.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Dr. Azad’s main passion in life is spending time with his wife, son, and daughter. When not helping patients achieve their dreams, he pursues his interests in soccer, cars, and all things Star Wars.
