ABOUT THE DOCTOR

Dr. Ajayi was born in London. He trained in pediatric pulmonary and sleep medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Ajayi is president of The Children’s Sleep Laboratory, Children’s Lung Asthma and Sleep Specialists, and Florida Pediatric Research Institute. He is the past chair of the Department of Pediatrics at AdventHealth Orlando.

In 2019, Dr. Ajayi was named the “Healing Hero for Excellence in Pediatric Medicine” by Kids Beating Cancer in Orlando. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American Thoracic Society.

WHAT SETS US APART

My Practice is the only pediatric pulmonary and sleep medicine practice in Florida with its own behavioral sleep medicine department. We run a tertiary-level pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine program and can manage virtually any diagnosis or complexity. We offer sleep evaluations, sleep studies, and cognitive behavioral services. We have the widest network of office locations offering full pulmonary function testing, consultation services, and management of conditions such as asthma, sleep apnea, insomnia, pneumonia, ventilator-dependent care, and allergic rhinitis. In addition, the practice offers inpatient services at both AdventHealth and Arnold Palmer Hospital.

ACCESS TO CARE

The ability to bring tertiary level care in pediatric pulmonary and pediatric sleep medicine to children throughout the state of Florida is one of the things I am most proud of. Taking care of kids is my passion, and having a chance to make a difference every day is amazing.
