ABOUT US
The Pediatric Hospitalist Service, PHS, is celebrating 24 years of service! We are a division of Pediatrix Medical Group and provide care for newborns at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. All Pediatricians in this practice are board-certified in Pediatrics and specialize in caring for newborns. Our team includes eight physicians, ten APRNs, eight Rounding Nurses, a Practice Coordinator, and a Practice Manager. The practice is led by co-founding members Ira Pinnelas, MD (Practice Medical Director), Matthew Seibel, MD, and David Sunnenberg, MD (Associate Medical Director). PHS has provided care for patients on the Orlando Health Campus since 1999 with unwavering dedication, strong leadership, and a “patient first” culture since its first day in practice. It is an honor to care for these little ones and to serve the Central Florida Pediatric Physicians who entrust their patients to us.
