Andrew Summers, MD; Jennifer Thielhelm, MD; Monica Guirguis, DO
OUR DOCTORS
Drs. Summers, Thielhelm and Guirguis are board-certified and members of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Their team is dedicated to caring for children—newborns to young adults—in a thorough and compassionate manner.
EDUCATION
Dr. Summers received his BS degree from Covenant College and his medical degree from Hahnemann/Drexel University. He completed his residency training at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital. Dr. Thielhelm received her BS degree from Duke University and her medical degree from the University of Florida. She completed her pediatric residency and co-chief residency at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Dr. Guirguis, fluent in Arabic and proficient in Spanish, received her BS degree from the University of South Florida and her DO from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
GREATEST PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Earning the trust of patients who then bring their children to them. Drs. Summers and Thielhelm are assistant clinical professors for the Florida State University College of Medicine, and all three doctors are community faculty for the pediatric residency program at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
