Armed Forces Day Carillon Concert – Bok Tower Gardens – 1 & 3 pm

Orlando International Fringe Festival – Loch Haven Park – Fri to Sun, Times Vary

Unjuried, uncensored and unforgettable works of theater, music and dance are back for another year, with performances taking place at various venues near Loch Haven Park, 777 E. Princeton St., Orlando. All ticket proceeds go to the artists. For tickets and more info: orlandofringe.org

Special Olympics State Summer Games – ESPN Wide World of Sports – Fri to Sun, Times Vary

This is the largest event on the Special Olympics Florida’s annual calendar, with athletes competing in track and field, bocce, cycling, soccer, tennis and volleyball. The Olympic-style opening ceremonies feature the final leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run, while Saturday night’s closing ceremonies feature a victory dance.
