Friday Night:

Sleuths Mystery Dinner Theatre – 6:00, 7:30, and 10:00 PM

Sleuths is a permanent attraction here in Orlando we locals so rarely think to visit, but what’s a better way to shake off the work week grind than with a bit of comedy, a bit of mystery, and a great deal of eating and drinking? For more info: sleuths.com

Garden Theatre – Boeing, Boeing – 8:00 PM

UCF – Orlando Jazz Festival – 8:00 PM

The 8th annual UCF-Orlando Jazz festival swings into town this weekend. Catch the opening night performances featuring Catherine Russell and end the week with a musical night out. For more info: ucforlandojazzfestival.ucf.edu


Lake Eola – Bark & Brew – 3:00 to 6:00 PM

For dog lovers and beer lovers. Ten samples of craft beers, pet vendors, live music by Gerry Williams Band, pet contest, and a portion of the proceeds go to Florida Little Dog Rescue. Must be 21 and older to enter. For more info: orlandosentinel.com/bark

The Venue – Cocktail Benefit Fundraiser – 6:00 to 10:00 PM 

The proceeds from this event benefit the Emotions Dance Company, a group striving to foster the growth of dance as an art form and promote artistic collaboration within our community. Rollins College – Functionally Literate Reading Series – 7:00 PM

Bookworms, writers, and lit nerds tend to enjoy spending the night in with a good book, but this Saturday why not spend it out? Bok Tower Gardens – The Rising Artist Series – 5:00 PM

Winter Park – Sidewalk Art Festival – 9:00 Am to 6:00 PM (Fri & Sat) 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Sun)
