Friday Night:

2015 Annual Student Exhibition Reception  – Anita S. Wooten Gallery – 6:30 PM

​Putting It Together – The Winter Park Playhouse – 7:30 PM

An Evening With David Sedaris – Bob Carr Performing Arts Center – 8:00 PM

Shake of the work-week grind with the wit and humor of David Sedaris, the best selling author and essayist. Tonight is the only night to catch him perform readings from his new work with a book signing to follow. For more info: drphillipscenter.org/shows-and-events

Guys and Dolls – The Annie Russell Theatre – 8:00 PM

Mount Dora Blueberry Festival – Sunset Park – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

This is the inaugural year for this festival in Mount Dora, or otherwise known as Festival City. The day will celebrate the newly developing crops in Florida and our goal to out produce Georgia. For more info: festivalsofflorida.com

UCF Book Festival – University of Central Florida – 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM

This premier annual literary event hosted by UCF brings reading as a cultural experience to people from infants to seniors. Don't miss the opportunity for book signings, cooking demonstrations, book appraisals, and much more. For more info: education.ucf.edu

Music of the Movies – Loch Haven Park – 6:00 PM

Dr. Phillip's Charities presents the third annual free outdoor concert in the park featuring the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, The Food Truck Bazaar, and an instrument petting zoo. Pre-concert activities begin at 4:00 PM with Mr. Richard & The Pound Hounds. For more info: orlandophil.org

Spring Swirl – Discovery Cove – 7:30 PM

It's Just Yoga Festival – Cranes Roost Park – 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

This is a festival celebrating yogis of all experience levels, whether you've never been on a mat or you're yoga mat's been worn through ten times over.
