Waldorf Astoria Orlando Unveils Comprehensive Property-Wide Transformation
Here is your exclusive sneak peek at all the changes.
The prestigious Waldorf Astoria Orlando is proud to announce the completion of an extensive property-wide transformation, marking a significant milestone in the hotel’s legacy. This sweeping renovation encompasses every facet of the establishment, from guestrooms and suites to culinary experiences, spa offerings, golf amenities, and event spaces.
Ryan Fitzgerald, General Manager of Waldorf Astoria Orlando, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are delighted to introduce the much-anticipated culmination of our reimagined Waldorf Astoria Orlando. This achievement solidifies our position as a top-tier luxury destination in Orlando. Every detail has been meticulously considered to provide our guests with a design-forward ambiance complemented by the exceptional service and amenities they have come to expect.”
Lobby and Arrival Experience
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by an atmosphere of organic sophistication and timeless luxury. The lobby’s white marble floors, a striking focal wall behind the front desk, and a prominently displayed Waldorf Astoria brand clock collectively convey a sense of tranquility and opulence.
Guest Rooms and Suites
All 502 guest rooms, including 171 suites, have been meticulously redesigned by Parker Torres Design, drawing inspiration from the indigenous wildlife and flora of the Bonnet Creek Nature Preserve. The rooms now feature a harmonious palette of neutral tones, soft greens, and sunset-inspired hues, creating an atmosphere that combines modernity with a deep connection to nature. Customized artwork complements the organic design elements, and guests can indulge in luxurious amenities, including exclusive Aesop toiletries and an in-room Nespresso coffee machine.
Bull & Bear
The iconic Bull & Bear restaurant has undergone a remarkable transformation, guided by Chef Juan Suarez’s creative vision. The restaurant now exudes a classic steakhouse ambiance infused with Mid-Century Modern style. With a new menu that retains beloved classics while introducing innovative dishes and immersive dining experiences, Bull & Bear is poised to maintain its status as one of Orlando’s top dining destinations. The cocktail program boasts new libations like the tableside-smoked Old Fashioned, the Smoking Bull, and an impressive wine selection featuring rare gems.
Peacock Alley
The redesigned Peacock Alley draws inspiration from the elegant plumage of the peacock, offering a fresh take on Art Deco design. The lounge features a sophisticated cocktail menu and an airy design palette with subtle pops of color.
The Waldorf Astoria Spa
The newly revitalized Waldorf Astoria Spa focuses on relaxation and rejuvenation, introducing signature treatments such as The Isle of Serenity Room and The Salt Solace Room. These immersive experiences are designed to envelop guests in tranquility and promote wellness. An expansion of the hotel’s partnership with renowned UK brand Lola’s Apothecary will bring additional treatments in 2024.
Waldorf Astoria Golf Club
Following a meticulous restoration, the 18-hole Rees Jones-designed golf course has seamlessly incorporated sustainable water conservation and landscaping practices. The course now offers premium playing conditions amidst the lush greens of the Bonnet Creek Nature Preserve. Golfers can embark on an unforgettable journey and enjoy a return to the original Par 72, 7,000-yard layout, with holes bearing names reminiscent of the Waldorf Astoria New York’s legacy.
Meetings & Events
Enhancements to the hotel’s meetings and events spaces were unveiled in late 2022, including the Central Park Ballroom, which provides over 8,000 square feet of versatile event space. Parker Torres Design paid homage to the Florida destination’s heritage and the Waldorf Astoria New York’s Art Deco roots in the ballroom’s design. This expansion brings Waldorf Astoria Orlando’s meetings and events offerings to nearly 60,000 square feet, encompassing two ballrooms, two boardrooms, 13 meeting rooms, and exquisite outdoor venues like Signature Island and the Promenade.
The Waldorf Astoria Orlando is back, and it’s better than ever. Get ready for a vacation experience that’s nothing short of magical!
