Universal Orlando Announces New Coaster, Themed After Fast & Furious

Fast Furious Hollywood Drift Coming To Universal Orlando Resort In 2027Universal Orlando Resort has announced Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, a new high-speed outdoor roller coaster set to debut at Universal Studios Florida in 2027.

Replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, the attraction will feature 360-degree drifting, intense maneuvers, and a dramatic 170-foot vertical spike that launches riders nearly 17 stories into the air near Universal CityWalk. The coaster will immerse guests in the Fast & Furious universe with cutting-edge thrills and design.

As part of the transition, Fast & Furious – Supercharged will permanently close in 2027, with more details about the new ride to be revealed in the coming months.
