The Alley

It’s an authentic blues hall in old town Sanford, featuring regular themed blues nights on select evenings, and special performances in between.

The Barn

The Beacham

This renovated theater dating to the 1920s blends a live music venue with a nightclub dance floor, hosting a range of nationally touring rock, hip-hop, EDM, and pop acts. 

Blue Bamboo Center for the Arts
1905 Kentucky Ave., Winter Park
This independent performance venue is inside a warehouse space that can seat over 200 guests and promotes the music of local performers, be it jazz, chamber music, rock bands, or solo acts.

Bombshell’s Tavern
5405 Edgewater Drive, Orlando 
This tavern holds its shows on a stage hidden behind a garage door opened only on select nights when acts ranging from acoustic sets to hip-hop to punk rock perform.

The Copper Rocket Pub
106 Lake Ave., Maitland 
This neighborhood pub boasts a smoke-free environment and original artwork decorating the walls with live music spanning genres from punk to metal to pop.

The Haven
6700 Aloma Ave., Winter Park 
The venue lives up to its name with a dark atmosphere and small space that is a haven for fans to get up-close-and-personal with the rock and heavy metal bands.

Hard Rock Live 
6050 Universal Blvd., Orlando
Acts of many genres ranging from legendary status to practically unknown come to play for fans who have a choice between general admission on the standing-room-only ground floor or assigned seats on the second level.

House of Blues
1490 E. Buena Vista Drive, Orlando
Located in Disney Springs, this multi-level venue fits about 2,100 people and books a wide array of prominent touring acts, some with local roots. HOB also stages a weekly gospel brunch where local talent performs traditional and contemporary Gospel songs.

Lil Indies
1036 N. Mills Ave., Orlando 
Co-owned and conveniently located next to Will’s Pub, this intimate space hosts residencies of local performers and DJ’s who play on regular nights throughout the month.

Maxine’s on Shine
337 N. Shine Ave., Orlando
This cozy neighborhood eatery and wine bar located in the heart of historic Colonialtown plays host to live local entertainment from indie to classic rock to folk music every Tuesday through Sunday.

The Plaza Live
425 N. Bumby Ave., Orlando 
This movie theater turned live performance hall was voted #3 Best of Orlando Live Music Venue by our readers and is the third largest seated venue in Central Florida hosting a wide range of acts from classic rock to heavy metal to jazz to classical music.

The Social
54 N. Orange Ave., Orlando 
With a capacity of only 400 people, the atmosphere is intimate, and the music varies from an eclectic mix of nationally touring indie rock to hip hop to EDM. 

Tanqueray’s Bar
100 S. Orange Ave., Orlando 
After descending a staircase into the largest cellar in downtown Orlando, guests are met with a real underground music scene hosting live performances of local and touring bands seven nights a week.

Timucua White House
2000 S. Summerlin Ave., Orlando 
A concept born from casual living room jam sessions, the Timucua Arts Foundation hosts regular folk, jazz, experimental and classical music performances in an original space now converted to a homey concert hall. 

Uncle Lou’s Entertainment Hall
1016 N. Mills Ave., Orlando
With room for fewer than 100 people and no stage, this is the venue where rock fans come face-to-face with local and touring bands playing hardcore and punk rock.

578 N. Orange Ave., Orlando 
As one of the larger downtown venues, located in the remodeled historic Firestone Tire & Auto building, it holds up to 10,000 people, and pulls in nationally touring rock, hip-hop, and Latin acts. 

West End Trading Co.
202 S. Sanford Ave., Sanford 
They offer a regular rockin’ good time with a lineup of local and nationally touring rock bands playing anything from psychedelic indie rock to reggae rock to boisterous heavy metal.

Will’s Pub 
1042 N. Mills Ave., Orlando 
This neighborhood bar and venue caters to local bands and touring acts of all genres, often booking indie rock, Southern rock, blues, hip-hop, and rap.
