The 36 holes of world-class golf at ChampionsGate were designed to offer golfers a blend of traditional and modern elements, creating truly unique golf courses. The International Course offers an authentic link-style golf experience, reminiscent of the great golf courses of the British Isles while the National Course challenges golfers with its traditional parkland design.

The resort is also the world headquarters for the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Golfers enjoy the convenience of walk-out golf with golf cart shuttle service to and from the golf course and academy.

Deer Island Golf-It’s Worth the Drive!

Located only 45 minutes from the Orlando area, this Joe Lee designed 18-hole championship golf course is accompanied by an Old Florida style clubhouse with pro shop, pool, tennis, and boat dock. Our private driving range and putting/chipping areas provide the chance for golfers to fine tune their swing before teeing off.  The undulating greens, strategically located visible hazards and unique bunkers are all part of Joe Lee’s trademark design.  For the beginner, this course will challenge, but not frustrate you, yet the expert golfer will find the course as exhilarating as many others worldwide.

The 400-acre golf course and community of Deer Island sits in the Harris Chain of Lakes, Florida’s largest chain of natural lakes, surrounded by the waters of Lake Dora and Lake Beauclair.  While golfing you will see nature at it’s finest-from bald eagles to the occasional alligator all while pontoon boats, sailboats and seaplanes glide by!
