CONSUMER CRAFT SUPERSHOW
July 31-August 1 Artist Mary Engelbreit, the woman People magazine dubbed the Norman Rockwell for our times, will be one of the headliners at the giant craft show at the Orange County Convention Center. The event features top designers and industry experts, including Engelbreit, whose unmistakable illustration style is found on cards, calendars, dinnerware, fabric and on more than 100 books. Other designers include Emmy award winning home arts expert Terri Ouellette, known to her fans as “Terri O”; Marisa Pawelko, who specializes in thrifty projects that recycle ordinary household castoffs; and Donna Dewberry, a self-taught artist and creator of the One Stroke painting technique. The event includes hands-on experiences, new products, educational workshops and children’s crafting, for those interested in jewelry, beading, sewing, quilting and more. NIGHT ART STROLL OF BALDWIN PARK
July 9 The Central Florida Plein Air Artists and the B Side Artists will create artwork on the sidewalk, and the Affiliate Operation Music Collective will perform. ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL PUPPET FESTIVAL
