Headdress Ball

Evening of Valor

Highlights: Join the Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando in honoring the 2009 George Wolly Community Leadership Award recipients at its annual fund-raising event. The evening includes hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, a raffle, dinner and a presentation of a community leadership award.

Dick Batchelor Run for the Children

Highlights: The Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children encourages people of all ages to take part in its 29th annual fund-raising event. Children can participate in the Kids’ Fun Run following the 5K race.

Benefits: Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families
Itinerary: Registration 6:30-7 a.m., opening ceremony at 7:30 a.m., 5K (3.1 miles) kickoff at 8 a.m. and Kids’ Fun Run at 9:15 a.m.
