Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe. A dating app brought us together unexpectedly, but from our very first date, it was clear something special was unfolding.

Conversation flowed effortlessly, the banter never stopped, and we quickly realized how much we had in common, from shared values and overlapping friendships to similar experiences as college athletes. We both left that night knowing this was the beginning of something meaningful.

At the start, we were living in two different cities, Colin in Greensboro and Caroline in Charlotte, but distance never felt like an obstacle. We made the drive often, never thinking twice about prioritizing time together. Those early efforts set the tone for a relationship rooted in intention, partnership, and a genuine enjoyment of life side by side. Now living together in Asheville, North Carolina, we find just as much joy in everyday moments as we do in shared adventures.

When it came time to plan our wedding, togetherness was at the heart of every decision. With loved ones spread across several states, bringing everyone together felt especially important. Orlando, where Caroline grew up and where much of her family still lives, felt like the natural choice. Returning there as a couple has given us some of our favorite memories, making it an even more meaningful place to celebrate.

A visit to The Citrus Club just one month after our engagement confirmed everything we hoped for. The sweeping views, vibrant atmosphere, and welcoming team struck the perfect balance of elevated and fun. With food, drinks, and music at the top of our priority list, the experience exceeded every expectation. The result was a timeless black and white celebration with subtle Florida influences, joyful, effortless, and unmistakably us.
