Amy and Barney met through mutual friends, and from the very beginning, Amy says, something just clicked. “What started as a simple introduction turned into true and effortless connection,” she says. “We didn’t tiptoe into love—we fell fast. It wasn’t reckless or rushed; it was clear. From early on, we both just knew we had found our person.”

“Being with Barney felt natural in a way I’d never experienced,” Amy continues. “We went from strangers to inseparable in what felt like no time at all, and yet somehow, it never felt too soon. Everything lined up—our values, our humor, our rhythms. There was this shared sense that we didn’t need to overthink it. We just knew.”

When Barney proposed, says Amy, the air was filled with love, laughter and happy tears. “In that instant, I couldn’t help but feel like the luckiest person in the world,” she says. “It was intimate, beautiful and so us—a moment that felt perfectly aligned with the love we had been building together. I couldn’t wait to say yes, and as I did, it felt like the start of something incredible.”

According to Amy, planning the wedding was full of laughter, teamwork and a few chaotic moments, but the couple loved every second of it. “We chose everything with intention, keeping it true to us, surrounded by the people who matter most.”

“And now, looking back on that day—standing beside Barney, promising forever—it feels like the easiest decision we’ve ever made,” says Amy. “We didn’t need time to be sure. From the very beginning, we just knew.”
