Madelyn and Max’s love story began in the most unexpected of ways: a high school parking lot. In 2013, as students at Edgewater High School, they were assigned parking spaces right next to each other.

What started as a simple daily coincidence soon turned into conversations, laughter, and a connection neither of them could ignore. Over time, those ordinary mornings became the foundation of something extraordinary.

As their relationship grew, so did their certainty that they had found their person. For Madelyn, it was the quiet realization that life felt more complete with Max by her side; for Max, it was knowing there was no one else he wanted to build a future with. Their love was tested early on when Madelyn, a grade ahead, left for her freshman year at Florida State University. The distance was challenging, but it only strengthened their bond, teaching them the importance of trust, communication, and choosing each other every day.

After ten and a half years together, Max planned a proposal that reflected their shared love of travel and meaningful places. He surprised Madelyn with a weekend trip to one of their favorite cities, Atlanta, Georgia. Surrounded by beauty in the Orchid Daze exhibit at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Max asked Madelyn to be his forever—and she said yes.

Wedding planning was equal parts chaotic and fun. Taking on much of it themselves brought moments of stress, but also so much joy. In the end, every detail felt deeply personal, and the day came together more perfectly than they could have imagined—a true celebration of a love that began with a parking space and grew into a lifetime.
