Orlando Magic’s STUFF Is Officially the Best in the Business
The Magic’s mascot won the award in 2016, 2017 & 2026.

Somewhere inside an NBA mascot conference, amid giant sneakers, oversized heads and what was probably an alarming amount of confetti, the votes were counted.
The winner was green, furry and entirely unsurprised.
Orlando Magic mascot STUFF was named the 2026 NBA Mascot of the Year, earning the honor for the third time. He previously won in 2016 and 2017, becoming the first mascot in league history to claim the award in consecutive years.
STUFF did not stop with the conference’s biggest prize. His celebratory “Play the Song” posts following Magic victories earned the 2025-26 Digital Content Award, while “Choices Nope – Yep” was named Video of the Year. He was the only NBA mascot to win multiple awards this season, proving that his talents extend well beyond backflip dunks and general arena mischief.
Now entering his 38th season, STUFF has spent decades building an unusually colorful résumé. He has proposed marriage to Kate Upton, battled “Tonight Show” mascot Hashtag to a draw and landed on ESPN’s Top Ten Plays after completing a backflip dunk from a 16-foot ladder.
The annual NBA Mascot Conference gives the league’s furry entertainers a chance to trade ideas about skits, props and costumes. This year, it also gave STUFF another trophy to bring home to Orlando.
As the Magic’s self-appointed number one fan and resident funny guy, STUFF has never been known for humility. Winning three awards in one season probably will not help.
