Orlando Burger Battle 2017

Judgment Day is Here. It's time to do battle.

Orlando magazine is staging its first Burger Battle on Sept. 23 at the Ace Cafe downtown, and it’ll be a competition unlike anything you’ve seen before: Ten-plus Central Florida restaurants cooking up craft burgers, with attendees—and a distinguished panel of celebrity judges—deciding who’s No. 1.

If you’ve sampled burgers in our city, you know the accoutrements can range from traditional to insane, so get ready for some fun. A ticket gets you access to all the burgers you can eat, free beer, wine and spirits, live music, performers, fun zone experiences, and a display of the most sought-after motorcycles in the world. Restaurants that have accepted the invitation to do battle are Ace Cafe Orlando, Raglan Road Irish Pub, Hash House A Go Go, Jimmy Hula’s, The Whiskey, Artisan’s Table, White Wolf Cafe & Bar, Planet Hollywood Observatory, Chroma Kitchen & Bar, Liam Fitzpatrick’s,  Shula’s 347 Grill, and The Tap Room at Dubsdread.

Celebrity judges will be Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw, Orlando Magic community ambassadors and former star Magic players; Ericka Dunlap, Miss America 2004; Kathleen Blake, the James Beard Award-nominated chef-owner at The Rusty Spoon; Joseph Hayes, award-winning dining critic for Orlando magazine; Emily Ellyn, chef, culinary educator and Food Network star; and Ricky Ly, creator of the popular Orlando food and restaurant blog TastyChomps.com

So set aside 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, for an extraordinary journey to burger heaven. Tickets are  $55 general admission and $75 for the VIP Experience (which includes burger and beverage delivery service to your table, and access to a VIP lounge).

A portion of the proceeds from Burger Battle will go to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. The event is sponsored by City Beverages, Lapin Services, Fresh Point, Big Green Egg, and Husse Pet Food. Get your tickets and more details online at orlandoburgerbattle.com
