If you’re looking for a holiday experience with a twist, then the upcoming Jollywood Nights event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one to mark in the calendar. This after-hours, ticketed celebration takes the charm of old Hollywood glamour, wraps it in festive cheer, and firmly plants it in November and December each year.

As you stroll down Sunset Boulevard during the event, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a holiday movie. Silver garlands drape overhead, giant ornaments fill the landscape, and softly glowing reindeer hang from lampposts in a retro-postcard style. The ambiance alone is worth the trip. But beyond the décor, the magic lies in the exclusive shows, rare character moments, specialty food and drink, and the bonus of lower wait times at the park’s top rides.

Here’s what to look forward to this year — and some insider tips for making the most of your night.

What’s New for 2025

There are several fresh additions for 2025 that make this year’s event stand out:

  • Entry begins at 5:30 p.m., a half-hour earlier than before, giving you a longer window to explore before the official party begins.

  • Two brand-new stage shows debut: The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After.

  • The Holiday Fiesta en la Calle moves to a new location near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, featuring lively Latin holiday music and new character appearances, including Miguel from Coco.

  • Backlot Express will feature a refreshed specialty menu with new seasonal bites and returning favorites.

  • A new Jollywood Nights merchandise collection debuts, featuring the event’s mascot Ollie the gingerbread man, along with themed spirit jerseys, mugs, headbands, and Loungefly bags.

Food, Drink, and Merchandise

Jollywood Nights is as much a feast for the senses as it is for the spirit. This year brings a new specialty menu at Backlot Express, featuring creative seasonal treats. More details are expected closer to the event, but guests can anticipate festive desserts, themed cocktails, and elevated comfort food.

The 2025 merchandise lineup introduces Ollie the gingerbread man as the event’s star. Highlights include the Ollie Spirit Jersey adorned with musical snowflakes, the Ollie Loungefly bag shaped like a gingerbread cookie, and matching mugs and ornaments. These exclusive items are only available during Jollywood Nights, so collectors will want to shop early in the evening before inventory sells out.

Why It’s Worth It

For Orlando locals and holiday enthusiasts, Jollywood Nights is a stylish standout among Central Florida’s holiday events. It combines the nostalgia of classic Hollywood with the festive warmth of the season, offering an experience that’s both elevated and family-friendly.

Guests enjoy a more relaxed, uncrowded atmosphere compared to regular park days, plus a mix of attractions and entertainment that appeal to every age group. Whether you come for the shows, the food, the characters, or the décor, this is an event that celebrates Christmas with vintage flair and plenty of sparkle.
