Kirsten and Timothy
FEBRUARY 6, 2010 Disney Fairy Tale Wedding
Kirsten Holz, 28 and Timothy Winstead, 29, were married at Walt Disney World’s Wedding Pavilion, with their reception held at Epcot’s American Adventure Pavilion. Both busy Lockheed Martin professionals (she’s a contracts negotiator and he’s a manufacturing manager), the couple left the details of getting married in a Disney wedding planner’s hands, and they were glad they did. “The Disney Weddings team makes planning a wedding one of the easiest, most pleasant experiences you could have,” says Kirsten. The couple’s fondest memory of their nuptials was dancing to the Animal House classic Shout by Otis Day and the Knights. “As we were at the ‘…a little bit louder now…’ part,” says Kirsten, “the confetti cannons went off, and confetti in our wedding colors showered over us and our guests and we all went crazy with happiness and joy. It was phenomenal.”
“Planning this wedding involved no stress, and that isn’t something you often hear from brides.” -Kirsten
