Kathy Sarabasa, successfully transitioned from navigating the fast-paced world of finance as a commodity and stock broker for over 13 years to becoming a joint owner with her husband, leading the commercial building maintenance industry at D&A. A family-owned business that has been serving Orlando and beyond for over 40 years. Today, her and her husband, Al, are proud owners of this comprehensive business. They provide commercial janitorial, highrise window cleaning, pressure cleaning, and landscaping services in Orlando,

Tampa, Jacksonville, and Dallas, Texas. But they don’t just clean—they innovate. By utilizing robotics and green cleaning solutions, they are redefi ning industry standards and proving that sustainability and efficiency can go hand in hand. Beyond operations, Kathy also navigates insurance, fi nancial strategies and decisions contributing to the overall success and stability of their operations. As the Executive Vice President, she brings a unique blend of financial acumen and dedication to excellence. She leads and manages a team of over 450 employees on a daily basis. Kathy works hand in hand with other women who have the same vision and leadership which are propelling Orlando into the future. Her contributions aren’t just moving the businesses forward; they are shaping the city’s skyline, ensuring it remains cleaner, greener, and more innovative for years to come.

Kathy also has four children, some of whom are involved in the business, ensuring her and her husband’s vision and legacy continue for generations to come. Her eldest daughter started her own business in construction services and is a Central Florida industry leader in her arena.
