Featuring the work of three artists: Chad Pollpeter, an FSU graduate, who combines figure studies and symbolic elements to create ethereal, emotional statements; Florida-native Jason Lee, whose work blends spirituality and surrealism; and Clair Strut, whose landscape and figurative work has a strong emotional basis, while retaining a sense of humor. Inside and Out: Trompe L’Oeil and Cloudscapes

A Confluence

Steel Equine Sculptures

Artist Doug Hays refers to himself as a working blacksmith, as that is how he learned the techniques of his craft—working, bending and sculpting steel. But this Lake County artist transcends the metal and breathes life into abstracted birds, horses and other animals.

Kyle

Installation-oriented multimedia work by an artist in residence and faculty member at the Maitland Art Center since 1995. Kyle has also been named one of the state’s top 20 artists, with work that has been displayed in 16 solo exhibitions and 25 exhibitions nationally.
