Florida Governor Issues Statewide Stay at Home Order
This order is effective at 12:01 a.m. on April 3 and will expire on April 30.
BREAKING: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order Wednesday instructing the state of Florida to “pause” and stay at home for 30 days amid the coronavirus pandemic. The number of coronavirus cases in Florida will surpass 7,000 today as the state’s death toll continues to climb.
This new statewide order will go into effect at at 12:01 a.m. on April 3. The order will remain in effect for 27 days.
Residents will still be allowed to go out to get essential supplies, including food and groceries.
