The award-winning Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), located in the heart of International Drive and just 15 minutes from the Orlando International Airport, offers a world-class venue with two stunning buildings – the West and the North-South. Annually generating more than $4 billion in economic impact for Central Florida, the Center hosts nearly 200 events and welcomes more than 1.5 million attendees each year. As Deputy Director, Terry Devitt plays a pivotal role in shaping the OCCC’s future, overseeing facility operations and capital projects – most notably the Center’s current Grand Concourse Expansion project. With nearly 30 years of dedicated service, Terry has held key leadership roles within the OCCC across event management, exhibitor services, and facility operations, consistently driving innovation and excellence.
Beyond his contributions to the Center, Terry serves as Chair for the 2025 Orange County Government United Way Campaign, supporting a historic employee-driven effort that donates more than $1 million annually to the Heart of Florida United Way. Under his leadership and vision, the OCCC continues its legacy of growth, community impact, and industry leadership – reinforcing its reputation as a trailblazer in conventions and trade shows.
