Meet Alex Birchenall and Logan Senelis-Jose of Windermere Preparatory School

Windermere Preparatory School

Windermere Preparatory School (WPS) is a private international day and boarding school with
extraordinary academic experiences, global passions, and local presence. Situated upon a well
landscaped 48-acre campus in the Windermere area of Orlando, the WPS student body is comprised of almost 60 nationalities spanning the Early Years and all K-12th grades. Over the past year, WPS was thrilled to welcome two new additions to its senior leadership team, becoming even more diverse and globally minded. These leaders directly serve students, faculty, and parents through the administrative team.

Mr. Alex Birchenall was welcomed to the Windermere Prep community over the summer as the Assistant Head of School. With his most recent role being the Middle School Division Head, he comes to WPS from North Broward Preparatory School, a WPS sister school, where he spent the last fifteen years as a teacher and school leader. Mr. Birchenall’s caring, thoughtful, and enthusiastic
leadership style enables a culture of innovation and creativity where teachers are inspired to grow as professionals and students thrive by discovering their interests and passions.

Mr. Logan Senelis-Jose joined the faculty of Windermere Preparatory School as the Director of Finance last year. He has over ten years of experience developing and implementing financial
systems, strategies, processes, and controls that significantly improve profit and loss scenarios.
As a Senior Regional Accountant with the Regional Office of WPS’s parent company, Nord Anglia Education, he led audits as well as acquisitions in the Latin American market. Mr. Senelis-Jose is a Florida licensed certified public accountant (CPA) and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting
from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
