Orlando International Airport (MCO)

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is an aviation leader, promoting multimodal connectivity and innovation throughout its vast airport complex. Along with Greater Orlando Aviation Authority CEO Kevin J. Thibault and GOAA Board Chair Tim Weisheyer, a senior leadership team of women helps to guide and shape MCO’s future.

Ranked as the busiest airport in Florida, the 7th busiest in the U.S., and the 18th busiest internationally, MCO welcomed nearly 58 million passengers across its three terminals last year. It is the only U.S. airport to provide high-speed intercity passenger rail service adjacent to a terminal, connecting Orlando to several cities along the east coast of Florida through its multimodal rail platform. A commitment to innovation is seen throughout Terminal C, which opened in 2022 and hosts the latest state- of-the-art technology, including automated TSA security screen lanes and a sophisticated baggage handling system with 100% RFID tracking.

As the primary commercial service airport for the region, MCO generates nearly $42 billion annually in economic impact. Through initiatives such as advanced air mobility (AAM) and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL), MCO is bound for even greater economic influence and is strategically positioned for the coming global shift in transportation.
