Windermere Preparatory School (WPS), Orlando’s leading international private school, entered the 2026-27 school year with exciting new leadership across its Middle and High School. With two accomplished educators joining WPS and two longtime team members stepping into new roles, the school continues to invest in leaders who strengthen the student experience and build meaningful connections.
Sarah Visagie joined WPS as Director of Middle School with 30 years of independent school experience. A graduate of Columbia University’s Klingenstein Program for Private School Leadership, Visagie brings a thoughtful, relational approach to leadership and a passion for creating engaging, connected experiences for adolescents.
Joining her in Middle School leadership is Katie Williams, newly appointed Assistant Director of Middle School. A member of the WPS community since 2008, Williams has served as a teacher, Dean of Students, advisor, coach, and technology manager. Her deep understanding of WPS and authentic relationships with students, faculty, and families provide a strong foundation for her new role.
In High School, Justin Muenker has been promoted to Assistant Director of High School after four years at WPS and 16 years in education. His experience in International Baccalaureate leadership, service learning, andstudent mentorship will help further strengthen the High School experience.
Dr. Kelly Swiggart joined WPS as Director of Student Services, bringing more than 25 years of experience in educational leadership and academic support. Her expertise in building comprehensive student services programs will further WPS’s commitment to helping every student thrive.
Together, these four leaders bring a powerful combination of institutional knowledge, fresh perspective, and educational expertise as the school continues to strengthen the student experience and shape what’s next for its community.
