Cover Pet Contest Gallery

We asked readers to send us photos of their pets for our inaugural cover pet contest, and, doggone it, did they ever — more than 130 pics of dogs, cats, birds and even a mouse. We picked 15 finalists and then asked readers to select their favorite. More than 4,500 votes were cast, with man’s best friend taking the top four spots.
