CHEVY BRIDAL STROLL: Local wedding planning company, An Affair to Remember, has teamed up with Chevy to present the Chevy Bridal Stroll on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. The stroll will feature a caravan of Chevy vehicles including the Tahoe Hybrid, Traverse and Equinox touring some of Orlando’s finest florists, venues, photographers, caterers and more. To get a spot at this unique bridal event, you must be 21 or older and have a valid FL driver’s license, and you must share your love story or unique proposal. I’ve seen both all wire hangers and a wood-frame hangers with customized wire portions below (pictured). The wood hanger might be the better choice if your dress is heavy. Since these hangers are custom-made, I’ve personally found one of the best places to get one is through etsy.com. On the site, search “personalized wedding hangers” to find a vendor that appeals to you. The hangers are also reasonably priced. I’ve seen them as low as $10 for generic versions. Allow enough time for these to be made and shipped before your wedding date or for bridal showers if giving as a gift.
