SMA architecture + interiors
At SMA architecture + interiors, everything begins and ends with people…our team, our clients, our community, and everyone we collaborate with along the way. Architecture is, at its core, a people-driven profession. The relationships we build and nurture form the foundation of our excellence.
Today, SMA is guided by a new generation of leadership with the experience and vision to carry that philosophy forward. Managing Partner Luis Naranjo brings more than 27 years of high performance in architecture and engineering, bridging creativity and precision to design and execute projects that redefine skylines, optimize budgets, and exceed expectations throughout South America, Canada and Europe. President Becky Bell, a licensed architect with more than 20 years of experience, leads strategic planning, financial management, business development, and operational oversight, ensuring continued growth, design excellence, and client satisfaction. While technology and the tools we use continue to evolve, one truth remains constant: architecture is about people. It shapes the world around us and has the power to enrich and improve everyday life.
Our passion and guiding philosophy is simple: “Improving the lives of our clients and community through design.” This mission drives us to solve challenges and help clients achieve their goals. We specialize in a wide range of commercial projects, including retail, healthcare, office, restaurant, industrial, and entertainment. No matter the project type, our client-centric approach considers every project from the client’s perspective, with careful attention to design, budget, and timeline. Whether serving a first-time client or long-term partners we’ve collaborated with for decades, this perspective elevates our service and has positioned SMA architecture + interiors as a trusted industry leader.
Every member of our team brings a unique version of excellence. Together, we offer a wide range of knowledge, creativity, and expertise that transforms our clients’ visions into reality. We consider it a privilege to grow alongside our clients and improve people’s lives through thoughtful design. And yes, we have fun doing it!
