Hope & Help Center of Central Florida

Hope & Help Center of Central Florida, Inc. originated in 1988 as a humble support group in an Orlando church basement, where friends provided essential care amid the AIDS crisis. From this foundation, it has grown into a leading 501(c)3 nonprofi t and premier primary care clinic specializing in HIV, serving as a center of excellence for comprehensive health services.

The organization’s mission is to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care and education that eliminates HIV transmission and reduces health disparities in Central Florida, addressing social determinants and empowering underserved communities. Guided by core values of compassion, integrity, empowerment, innovation, collaboration, and excellence, Hope & Help ensures inclusive access for all, regardless of identity or circumstance.

Services include confidential HIV, STI, and Hepatitis C testing; on-site clinic, primary care and pharmacy care; PrEP, nPEP, Ryan White case management; support groups; syringe exchange; and free condom and Narcan distribution. A whole-person approach, combined with community outreach and mobile units, removes barriers and fosters wellness across seven counties.

Evolving from social services to a full healthcare provider since 2018, Hope & Help has built deep community trust. Its 2029 vision is to become the premier health resource, achieving a significant reduction in new HIV cases. Hope & Help turns hope into action, help into healing, isolation into belonging, and challenges into healthier, empowered lives, profoundly impacting Central Florida.
