Fortnite’s Fortnitemares Invades Halloween Horror Nights with New Scare Zone
This new scare zone is sure to please Fortnite fans.

Halloween Horror Nights is bringing one of the world’s most popular video games to life this fall with a new scare zone inspired by Fortnite‘s annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares.
Debuting at Universal Orlando Resort when Halloween Horror Nights begins Aug. 28, the immersive experience transports guests into “Freaky Fields,” a haunted battleground overtaken by a sinister force. The scare zone will also appear at Universal Studios Hollywood beginning Sept. 3.
Drawing inspiration from Fortnite‘s yearly Fortnitemares event, the attraction places guests in the middle of a Halloween-themed environment where they will encounter the iconic Battle Bus and familiar Fortnitemares characters, along with several new characters created exclusively for Halloween Horror Nights.
Universal says the scare zone will feature evolving environments designed to capture the fast-paced, high-stakes atmosphere of the game as guests attempt to navigate the haunted battlefield.
To coincide with the announcement, Universal has released exclusive Fortnitemares-inspired merchandise, including a graphic T-shirt, decal set and acrylic collectible. The items are available now at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, with online sales through ShopUniversal.
Halloween Horror Nights runs select nights at Universal Orlando Resort from Aug. 28 through Nov. 1. Tickets are on sale now.
