Advance Family Practice has been a trusted, family-owned primary care clinic serving the Orlando community for more than 50 years. Founded by Dr. Ramesh Patel, the practice has always been dedicated to exceptional preventive care and advanced diagnostic testing tailored to each patient’s unique needs and lifestyle. Today, Drs. Ramesh and Varesh Patel continue that legacy, navigating the ever-changing medical landscape with a steadfast focus on patient-centered care.

Advance Family Practice continues to evolve, offering personalized, evidence-based treatment plans grounded in the latest research and screening guidelines. The clinic provides advanced cardiac, diabetic, kidney, and liver testing for both diagnostic and prognostic purposes. Recently, they introduced in-house diabetic eye exams to give patients a more convenient and comprehensive experience. The team also develops customized weight management programs and provides allergy testing with immunotherapy—all designed to help patients achieve lasting wellness.

For more than five decades, the guiding principle of Advance Family Practice has remained the same—delivering passionate, patient-centered care in a welcoming, family-run setting for generations to come. Beyond the clinic, Dr. Varesh Patel founded Medical Cannabis Physicians of Florida more than eight years ago, offering qualified patients additional options for their healthcare needs.

DR. RAMESH PATEL: Earned his medical degree from Grant Medical School in Mumbai, India, and completed residencies in the UK and Canada.

DR. VARESH PATEL: Received his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, served as Chief Resident at AdventHealth, and as a Major in the U.S. Army. He is Medical Director and Co-Founder of Harmony Healthcare Orlando, a nonprofit serving Hepatitis C and HIV patients.

DR. AMAR PATEL: Graduated from the University of Florida and completed his Internal Medicine residency at HCA Citrus Hospital in Inverness, FL.
