There’s never been a greater time to visit. Earlier this year, Visit Florida revealed the state of Florida once again broke tourism records by welcoming 142.9 million visitors to the state in 2024, which topped 2023’s numbers by 1.6 percent. According the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, there is 8,436 miles of shoreline in Florida, including offshore islands, sounds, bays, rivers, creeks and tidal waters. And while Florida’s Atlantic and Gulf coasts can be dramatically different, they are all bound by one characteristic—all are idyllic.
