#9 Parking Privileges
Things to love about the new Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

There’s been much ado about the downtown-parking situation for Dr. Phillips Center patrons, yet there seem to be enough options to satisfy theatergoers of every ilk. More than 2,000 parking spaces await at the City Commons Parking Garage, where a covered Sky Bridge on the third level offers pedestrian access through the CNL Tower 1 to the CNL Arts Plaza entry to the center. Don’t worry about getting lost; new lighting will guide your way and greeters will help you stay the course. Don’t want to walk in those six-inch Jimmy Choos? A shuttle will run to the center’s front door during events. You can guarantee a spot in the garage by pre-paying $10 while booking performance tickets. Four other nearby parking garages will offer 2,000 additional spaces, and valet parking is an option. If driving isn’t an option, hop a bus! Lymmo and Lynx bus stops offer close access to the center.
