Florida Radiation Oncology is an independent, state-of-the-art radiation oncology center with a dedicated team providing top-quality, cost-effective cancer care. As an independent facility, we work closely with physicians throughout our community.

Our Varian TrueBeam® treatment machine is the most advanced in the region, allowing for highly precise treatments.

SERVICES

We offer stereotactic body radiotherapy, frameless brain radiosurgery, image-guided radiotherapy, HDR brachytherapy, and radiopharmaceuticals.

Dr. Diamond and Dr. LaFave are both board-certified radiation oncologists trusted by hundreds of colleagues.

They have a combined 40 years of experience in Central Florida, caring for over 20,000 patients.

EDUCATION/ACHIEVEMENTS

Dr. Diamond graduated cum laude from Princeton and earned his medical degree with research honors from the University of Florida. He completed his internship at Yale and residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He has served on the board of the American College of Radiation Oncology and advised the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. In 2019, Governor DeSantis appointed him to the Florida Board of Medicine, and he was elected Board Chair in 2021.

Dr. LaFave earned her undergraduate and medical degrees with honors from Michigan State University. She completed her residency at the University of Miami, served as Chief Resident, and received the Clinical Service Award. She has been recognized by Orlando Family Magazine as a “Top Physician 2025,” and by Orlando magazine as a “Woman Who Moves the City.” Other accolades include “Doctor of the Year” and “Women of the Year” by Orlando Style Magazine. Additionally, Dr. LaFave volunteers as faculty at the University of Central Florida.
