It’s time again to go green and join the luck of the Irish at Liam Fitzpatrick’s Restaurant and Irish Pub, Graffiti Junktion, Duffy’s Sports Grill and F&D Cantina for the 12th annual St. Patrick’s Lake Mary Block Party on Saturday, March 14.  North Orlando’s biggest block party is FREE to attend and kicks off at Colonial Town Park plaza at 4pm.  The epic event features festive live entertainment throughout the night from Orlando Firefighters Bagpipes & Drums, three live DJs, drink specials and authentic Irish food and fun. The Lake Mary St. Patrick’s Block Party also supports Orlando City Youth Soccer, who will be on site collecting donations.  Orlando City Youth Soccer is the preeminent youth club in Lake Mary, whose core values are player development, parental guidance, coaches education and community outreach. “While we strive to deliver a traditional Irish pub experience 365 days a year, St. Patty’s is, without question, our most highly anticipated main event,” says Liam Fitzpatrick’s General Manager Dominick Coloni.  “We are excited to join back together with our plaza neighbors and Orlando City Youth Soccer, start 2020 off strong and see all of our loyal patrons at the best, the biggest and the most memorable St. Patrick’s party.”

5th Annual Crooked Can Celtic Festival

One of Central Florida’s largest Celtic festivals is returning to Crooked Can Brewing Company for its fifth year. Enjoy three days of live Celtic music, Irish dancers, local vendors, delicious eats, beloved Crooked Can brews and so much more. The event is free for all ages and kicks off on Friday, March 13 at 4pm and extends over the entire weekend. Special guest headliner, Off Kilter, will be returning to the rock the stage on Sunday, March 15.

Raglan Road

Take a stroll down Raglan Road for the best Irish entertainment in America. St. Patrick’s Day festivities kick off at 3.00 pm Friday March 13 and run thru Tuesday, March 17. Brace yourselves for a cacophony of music. Throw in a troupe of Irish Dancers with more talent in their big toes than most possess in their lifetime and you have the ingredients for a fun, feisty and fantabulous festival. With sublime Irish food, an enormous range of craft beers and cocktails, a dedicated Irish store, face painting and much more, this is a truly immersive experience.

The Ravenous Pig

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with The Ravenous Pig on Saturday, March 14, from 11:30 a.m.- 3 p.m. Guests will have the choice of three different entrees and a few beverage specials to enjoy. Entrees include: The Roast ($18) with corned beef brisket with choucroute and a side of potato salad with house-made Irish soda bread and Joyce’s mustard. Plus, a chocolate cupcake topped with Dirty Old Stout buttercream, a Mahi Sandwich ($17) includes sauce gribiche, Bibb lettuce, and roasted tomatoes on a brioche bun with a side of truffle fries, and a Gatherer Salad ($13) that includes baby greens, avocado, pickled beets, and radish topped with goat cheese, pistachio granola and Herb vinaigrette.

Wall St. Plaza

A collective of 7 downtown Orlando bars will host a block party on March 14 and March 17. The Wall St. Plaza “St. Practice” Day and St. Patrick’s Day Block Parties will take place on two city streets as well as The Hen House, Hooch, The Monkey Bar, Shine, Sideshow, WaiTiki and Wall St. Cantina. Enjoy live bands, DJs, and Irish pipes and drums, as well as Irish food and drink specials, tons of giveaways, and a leprechaun. Saturday’s event runs from 7 p.m. – 2 a.m., with Sunday’s scheduled for 12 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Baldwin Park 

For those looking for family friendly or pet friendly festivities, go to Baldwin Park on March 14 from 12 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. This family-friendly event will feature food trucks, a beer garden, music, dancing, and a street full of vendors and local businesses!

Downtown Sanford

Saturday, March 14 head out for the St Paddy’s Day Truck Pull & Street Festival in beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford! Food trucks, live music, craft beer and tons of fun are set to be had! 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. All proceeds to benefit Special Needs Ability Program, Inc.

THAT PUB FEEL

Harp and Celt

If you’re looking for a Downtown Orlando vibe, Harp and Celt has you covered (well, technically there’s no cover charge on March 17). Serving up the traditional corned beef and cabbage from 11:00 a.m. until it runs out, this block party offers live music outside beginning at 8:00 p.m.

Lizzy McCormack’s Irish Pub

Lizzy McCormack’s Irish Pub is close by and is set to host its 16th St. Patrick’s Day Celebration this year. With live Irish music, drink and food specials, giveaways, and their world-famous pudding shots, anyone 21+ will enjoy this thoroughly good time. RSVP’s are recommended.

CATCH THAT RAINBOW

March for Meals St. Patrick’s 5K

Saturday, March 14 from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. head to Kissimmee Lakefront Park! This fun run encourages participants to wear green, creates awareness of senior hunger and raises money for the Meals on Wheels program in Osceola County through the Osceola Council on Aging. Groups can compete for “Most Spirited Team” and/or “Largest Team.” Registration in advance is encouraged but pick up your race kit on race day!

2020 Luck of the Irish 3.17

The third annual Luck of the Irish 3.17-mile VIRTUAL race encourages participants to run during March, which is also Hemophilia Month. Racers will receive a bib and medal, and at least 15 percent of every registration will be donated to the National Hemophilia Foundation. Register here.

Krispy Kreme Is Turning All Doughnuts Green To Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Mischievous leprechauns are sneaking into Krispy Kreme shops across the country and this time aren’t just turning O’riginal Glazed® Doughnuts green … but all the doughnuts! For the first time ever, fans who visit participating shops throughout Central Florida, Friday, March 13 through St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, will find doughnut display cases filled with greenified versions of their favorite Krispy Kreme doughnuts, including Chocolate Iced with green Kreme, Cake Batter with green icing, Strawberry Iced with St. Patrick’s Day sprinkles, OREO® Cookies & Kreme with green icing drizzle and Chocolate Iced Custard filled with shamrock sprinkles. And in a stroke of innovation, or perhaps just plain luck, Krispy Kreme has devised a delicious way to catch these tricksters with an all-new Leprechaun Trap Doughnut. Get ready to get shamrocked at American Social! This St. Patrick’s Day, it doesn’t matter if you’re not Irish – because your drinks can be! In celebration of the holiday, American Social will serve Green Bud Lights ($3), Jameson cocktails ($6), and Peanut Butter Irish Car Bombs ($8) all day long from Friday, March 13, through St. Patrick’s Day on Tuesday, March 17.

Duffy’s Sports Grill

Duffy’s Sports Grill is doing something unique for St. Patrick’s Day by offering anyone with the name “Duffy” a free Lucky Duffy cocktail, which is their newest signature drink … even someone with a tattoo that has Duffy in it will receive the free drink. The Lucky Duffy is crafted with luck of the Irish Jameson Irish Whiskey, Bundaberg Ginger Beer, a dash of Angostura bitters, and a splash of lemonade. Celebrating from Saturday, March 14 – Tuesday, March 17, Duffy’s is also offering drink specials such as Guinness pints for $4 each, and Jameson shots & Jameson cold brew shots for $5 all weekend. And if you’re already in the Lake Nona area, check out the BRAND NEW Boxi Park! The dining and live entertainment venue in Lake Nona will celebrate a family-friendly, dog-friendly St. Patrick’s Day on March 14 and 15 with traditional Irish food and beverage specials and live entertainment by Celtic Conundrum (March 14, 1-4 p.m.), DEF LEPRECHAUN (March 14, 7-10 p.m.), Irish four-piece band Brayzen Heads (March 15, 1-4 p.m.) and folk band Beemo (March 15, 6-9 p.m.).

Encore Resort

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Encore Resort at Reunion this year where guests can munch on some Irish Nachos or sip on Irish cocktails – $6 drink special. Don’t forget to swing by the water park from 12 pm-4 pm for a family-friendly dance party + interactive DJ. Kids will also have a blast as St. Patrick’s Day-themed crafts will be held in the Kids Club, as well as family trivia at 6 PM.

Sunset Walk 

Throw on some green and head down to Sunset Walk to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day from 6 pm – 10 pm. There will be a live DJ to keep everyone dancing all night. Don’t miss a chance for a photo op with St. Patrick’s Day stilt walkers, street performers, and more festive St. Patrick’s Day fun.
