Halloween Horror Nights is back, and Universal Orlando is dialing the terror to eleven with the announcement of two chilling new original haunted houses joining the 2025 lineup: “El Artista: A Spanish Haunting” and “Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters.”
Known as The World’s Premier Halloween Event, HHN 2025 invites horror fans to endure ten haunted houses, terrifying scare zones, and electrifying live entertainment on select nights from August 29 through November 2. Art Imitates Death in “El Artista: A Spanish Haunting”

In this gothic nightmare, Universal introduces guests to a tormented painter whose eerie creations have taken on a life of their own. In “El Artista: A Spanish Haunting,” visitors will walk through a haunting gallery where the cursed artwork doesn’t just hang on the wall—it possesses its creator and reaches out to ensnare those who dare to look too closely. This house promises a surreal and sinister blend of Spanish folklore and supernatural horror.
Demons, Guns, and Molten Doom in “Hatchet and Chains”
Saddle up for a scorched-earth showdown in “Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters.” Set in a cursed frontier town plagued by lava-born demons, guests will witness a fiery battle between ruthless bounty hunters and the malevolent entities threatening to melt everything in their path—human souls included. This Western-horror mashup is a high-octane nightmare fueled by brimstone and bullets.

A Full Lineup of Fear
These two originals join already-announced franchise-inspired haunted houses, including the blood-soaked “Jason Universe” and the post-apocalyptic horror of “Fallout,” building anticipation for a bone-chilling season of thrills. As always, HHN will feature five immersive scare zones, pulse-pounding live shows, and select rides and attractions to keep the adrenaline flowing between screams.
