Universal Orlando’s hotel bars are getting into the Halloween spirit with a new seasonal program called Fright and Drink Flights, in an effort to capture some of that Horror Nights black magic.

Available across select Universal Orlando Resort hotels during this year’s Halloween Horror Nights season, the offerings feature limited-time tasting flights inspired by the event’s spooky atmosphere.

Guests at participating hotels, including Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, and the Universal Endless Summer Resort properties, can sample curated mini-cocktails themed to Halloween Horror Nights icons, along with small bites tailored by each hotel’s culinary team. The menus vary by property, giving visitors a reason to check out more than one location while they’re on site.

The drinks include everything from the sake and pumpkin-infused Haunted Harvest (seen above), to the bourbon and peach puree-filled Into the Fog that sports one of those fancy smoke-filled bubbles you see on social media all the time. The standout, according to me, is the Spicy Jack-o-Rita, which had chile liqueur, Reposado tequila, lime juice, bitters, and pumpkin puree with a little half-rim of tajin seasoning. Amy Drew from Orlando Sentinel kept talking about it during our media tour this past Thursday, so you know it’s good.

The Fright and Drink Flights program runs through the end of Halloween Horror Nights 2025 and is open to both overnight guests and day visitors. Prices and availability vary by hotel, and age restrictions apply to alcoholic beverages. Full menus and participating locations are listed at UniversalOrlando.com.

As an added tip, consider hitting up a hotel for supper or pre-park drinks, leaving your car, and then hopping over to the park via shuttle. If you visit Hard Rock Hotel they have a beautiful walking path that brings you right to the Horror Nights gate, without a Brazilian tour group in sight.
