The veterinarians on Orlando magazine’s Top Veterinarians list were chosen as among the finest in the area by their local peers. topVets™, a national evaluation firm, conducted an extensive survey, asking hundreds of veterinarians, “If a client’s pet was in need of a general vet or specialist and you could not take the case, to whom would you refer him or her?’’ Professionals were asked to take into consideration years of experience, continuing education, manner with animals, use of new techniques and technologies and, of course, physical results.

Our 2013 list features 65 veterinarians in 14 specialties. Of course, there are many fine veterinarians who are not included in this representative list. It is intended as a sampling of the great body of talent in the veterinary profession. A vet’s inclusion on the list is based on the subjective judgment of his or her fellow veterinarians.

The veterinarians are named alphabetically, by specialty. topVets™ and Orlando magazine have made every effort to ensure the list is accurate.
