Orlando Valkyries Team, Coaching Staff, and Front Office Staff
Orlando Valkyries Professional Women’s Volleyball Team and 2025 Major League Volleyball Champions
In just a short time, the Orlando Valkyries have become one of the most exciting forces in Central Florida sports. As the 2025 Major League Volleyball champions, the organization’s athletes, coaches, and front office leaders are not only winning on the court but also reshaping how women’s professional sports are embraced across the region. Their collective leadership, community engagement, and commitment to excellence have earned them recognition as one of Orlando magazine’s 2026 Women of the Year honorees.
While many professional sports organizations focus primarily on competition, the Valkyries have built their identity around something broader: creating a sustainable culture for women’s professional athletics in Orlando. The team’s success reflects the coordinated efforts of players, coaches, operations staff, and executives working together toward a shared vision.
“The Orlando Valkyries represent the highest level of women’s professional volleyball, bringing elite athletes, coaches, and sports professionals together to compete on a national stage while building a lasting impact in the Orlando community,” the organization shared in its Women of the Year questionnaire.
“Leadership isn’t just about winning today. It’s about creating opportunities that will exist for the next generation of athletes, leaders, and fans.”
The impact has been felt quickly. The Valkyries’ 2025 championship helped solidify Orlando as a legitimate home for women’s professional sports. In a city known for rapid growth and reinvention, the team has tapped into a passionate fan base eager to support elite female athletes and celebrate their achievements.
But the Valkyries’ mission extends far beyond the scoreboard.
The organization partners with youth sports programs throughout Central Florida to expand access to volleyball and athletics. Community nights at games recognize educators, youth athletes, and nonprofit organizations. The team also hosts clinics and outreach programs that connect professional players with the next generation of athletes.
“We push each other to compete at the highest level, uphold championship standards, and build an organization our city can be proud of,” the organization said. “How we lead helps shape the future of women’s professional sports.”
Behind every match is an extensive network of professionals ensuring the experience runs seamlessly. From athletic trainers and equipment managers to operations teams and community volunteers, the Valkyries emphasize that success is always a collective effort.
“Professional sports are often defined by what happens on the court,” the organization noted. “But the success of any organization is built on the work of people behind the scenes.”
That philosophy extends to mentorship and opportunity. By spotlighting women in coaching, front-office leadership, and sports business roles, the Valkyries are helping young girls see a wider range of possibilities within athletics.
The organization views Orlando as an ideal place to build that future. A city known for welcoming new ideas and diverse communities, Orlando provides fertile ground for innovation in sports culture.
“In just two short years, we’ve pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in making professional women’s sports a reality here,” the organization shared. “We hope to create a platform where young girls can see themselves in athletes, coaches, executives, and leaders.”
Looking ahead, the Valkyries envision a future where women’s professional sports are no longer treated as emerging but as essential. They hope that a decade from now, girls growing up in Central Florida will assume that leadership roles in sports, business, and community life are simply part of the landscape.
Their ultimate goal is a legacy defined not just by championships but by transformation.
“We want to be remembered as the organization that helped elevate women’s professional sports in this city and made it an undeniable part of Orlando’s identity,” the Valkyries said. “Beyond the wins, we want our legacy to be rooted in impact.”
