Norigami is rolling into Lake County.
The Michelin Bib Gourmand-winning sushi and handroll concept is opening its second location later this summer at City Center Market, the new food hall inside Crooked Can Brewery’s Hills City Center development in Minneola.
Joining sister restaurant Kai Kai BBQ & Dumplings, the two neighboring concepts will give diners plenty to choose from, whether they’re craving premium sushi, Cantonese barbecue or handmade dim sum.
The new Norigami will feature a cozy six-seat sushi counter and an expanded menu with chirashi and poke bowls, alongside the fresh handrolls and seafood that helped make the original Plant Street Market location a local favorite.
“We’ve been fortunate to build an incredible community around both Norigami and Kai Kai,” said Johnny Tung, founder of Omei Group. “As we’ve grown, we’ve looked for opportunities to bring our restaurants to new neighborhoods while staying true to the quality and hospitality that define them. We’re excited to introduce both brands to Lake County and become part of the vibrant community taking shape at Crooked Can.”
City Center Market will span more than 40,000 square feet and feature more than a dozen locally owned food vendors, craft beer, live entertainment, outdoor gathering spaces and family-friendly amenities. The market is part of the 96-acre Hills City Center development and is expected to become a new dining and entertainment hub for Lake County.
Norigami is expected to open later this summer, offering dine-in, takeout and delivery.
