Dr. Onyia and his partners at Central Florida Infectious Diseases Group offer thoughtful and compassionate care to Central Floridians at their Orlando office. Dr. Onyia completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Rochester Regional Health/University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, NY and his fellowship training at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA and LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
He is board certified in Infectious Disease and multi-year recipient of “Sub-Specialty Teacher of the Year” in the AdventHealth system. His special clinical interests are in bone and joint infections, brain and spine infections and infections in immunocompromised individuals.
In his off hours, Onyia enjoys running and is an avid soccer fan, cheering on Orlando City FC and Arsenal FC London, England where he lived and trained.
