THE FACE OF
REAL ESTATE LAW

Don H. Nguyen, Esq.

DHN Attorneys

When Don H. Nguyen moved to Orlando in 2007, he was eager to launch his career and put down roots. But just a few months later, as the Great Recession unfolded, he found himself unemployed with steep student loan payments. His degrees from Wake Forest University and Vanderbilt University Law School couldn’t shield him from the harsh reality of starting over in a new city with no money and no network.

“The firm owners told me I couldn’t cut it because I couldn’t generate my own business,” Don recalls. “It could have ended my career before it even began, but I wasn’t ready to quit.” Instead, he built his practice from the ground up by representing HOAs and condominiums. Those early clients gave him the chance to learn, grow, and earn trust. Over time, his work expanded to include investors, developers, and entrepreneurs. Today, DHN Attorneys represents more than 200 associations across Central Florida, while also serving municipalities, the county Clerk’s office, and numerous prominent restaurants and medical practices.

The firm, established in 2013, is known for guiding clients through complex transactions and negotiations, often working with investors at the start of their journeys. In addition to being an attorney, Don is also a licensed real estate agent and a mortgage loan originator, giving him unique perspective into every stage of the deal. “When I came to Orlando, I started from zero,” Don says. “That experience gave me perspective. I understand risk-taking and building from scratch. That’s why I’m committed to helping clients move forward with confidence.”

Beyond his legal work, Don is deeply engaged in the local community. He serves on the Board for the Conductive Education Center of Orlando and the Leadership Council for SALT Outreach. Previously, he also served on the Orange County Development Advisory Board and other civic organizations. “Orlando gave me the chance to build a career, a fi rm, and lasting relationships,” Don explains. “Being recognized as the Face of Real Estate Law means giving back to the community that gave me those opportunities and working every day to help it thrive.”
