State-of-the-art landside facilities, unrestricted air draft and deep-water berths are critically important to ensuring the Port can meet the needs of today’s largest and most
sophisticated vessels while being well positioned for the demands of the future.
Port Canaveral is a key player in the State of Florida’s strategic economic initiatives. The Port with its Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) #136 is diversifying its cargo operations, increasing throughput capacity, and developing new infrastructure to support the Central Florida region’s economic growth and improve the State’s competitiveness in a global economy.
